This Privacy Policy explains how Catvideo collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Catvideo website, web app, mobile apps, and API. Catvideo is a social media scheduling and cross-posting service and is part of the FreeSurf family of tools. Other FreeSurf products have their own privacy policies.
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials through Supabase. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the email address associated with that account. We use this information to recognize you and, if you opt in, to send product updates.
Social media connections. When you connect a social account, we receive and store the information the platform provides for that connection:
We do not receive or store your social media password. We use these connections only to schedule and publish content at your direction, display connected accounts, and fetch analytics you request.
Content and scheduling data. When you create, schedule, or publish a post, we store the text, media references, first comments, scheduling details, platform selections, drafts, and the results or error messages returned by the platform. If you use analytics features, we may receive engagement data that the platform makes available through its API.
Payment information. Catvideo is free to use. Some platforms charge fees that we pass through at cost, such as X's per-post fees. If you buy posting credits, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive transaction details such as the payment status, amount, and a customer identifier. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Technical and support data. We collect basic server logs, such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and error details, to keep Catvideo secure and troubleshoot problems. If you contact support, we retain your correspondence so we can help and document the outcome.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your content for advertising, and Catvideo does not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

Catvideo uses browser storage for essential functions such as keeping you signed in, remembering your theme preference, and storing onboarding choices. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings, though you may need to sign in again.
We share information only as needed to operate Catvideo:
These providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms. We do not sell your social media data.
Backup copies may persist briefly after deletion before they are overwritten or expire.
We use access controls, encrypted connections, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your information. No service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your Catvideo login credentials confidential and for reviewing which social accounts you connect.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can disconnect a social account at any time, which removes the stored OAuth token. Deleting your Catvideo account removes your connections and associated scheduling data.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete; we do not sell personal information.
Catvideo is operated from the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Catvideo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date. Continued use of Catvideo after changes means you accept the updated policy.
